UC San Diego has a tracking process to monitor the commencement of academic activity for all undergraduate level, graduate level, and professional level students as required by the U.S. Department of Education.
We’ve created a survey in Canvas titled, “First Day Survey: Getting to Know You - #FinAid”. By taking this survey it will satisfy the requirement for UCSD. If you do not complete the survey and the commencement of academic activity is not verified, your financial aid package could lead to a partial or complete loss of funds. The survey should just take a couple minutes to complete.
