Welcome to Econ 105!
My name is Emanuel Vespa and I'm a faculty member of the Economics Department. I'm originally from Mendoza, Argentina. I came to the US for the first time in 2006 to start my graduate studies. I initially intended to focus my research on Industrial Organization, but I became more broadly interested in Experimental Economics as a PhD student. While my work largely uses the laboratory, many of the questions I have done research on are motivated by economic problems coming from Industrial Organization. I have constructed the class aiming to incorporate all tools to study IO questions: game theory, empirical work with survey data and empirical work using laboratory data.
